Kobe Angry Over Blog Comments

Kobe is made at his teammates for talking about him and his wife on a sports blog called sportshate.com. Apparently the guys were talking about blogging on the site. When he went to it (after finding out what their usernames were) he saw that they were talking about his ball hogging ways and his crazy wife.

Kobe and Wife Sued by Former Housekeeper

Maria Jimenez, the former housekeeper for Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa, is suing the couple because she claims she was forced to quit after Vanessa’s abuse.
She says Vanessa called her “lazy, slow, dumb, a f—ing liar, and f—ing sh-t.”
Vanessa allegedly “badgered, harassed and humiliated Maria by yelling and screaming at Maria and criticizing her in front of Kobe, the Bryants’ children, employees and other people in the household.”
Her breaking point was when she put one of Vanessa’s expensive shits in the washer and Vanessa demanded Maria put her hand in a bag of dog poo to retrieve the price tag for the blouse.
When she threatened to quit Vanessa said she “had to work until payday to pay for the $690 blouse, which she did.”
She also claims that Vanessa accused her of stealing her mouth retainer. Source

Shaq and Kobe Share MVP

Former Lakers teammates, Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant, not only reunited on the West team for the 2009 All-Star game but also shared the MVP title.
"It felt like old times," O'Neal said. "I miss those times. He was really looking for me, especially when we went to a pick-and-roll and they had Rashard Lewis on me."
"I tell you what, those two guys together, that's a deadly combination as we all saw tonight and we have all seen in the past," East coach Mike Brown said. "They are where they are right now, but if they were to stay together, no telling how many more rings they would have had on their fingers and toes."
"We are not going to go back to the room and watch 'Steel Magnolias' or something like that, you know what I'm saying, crying, all that stuff," Bryant said. "We had a good time. That's all."
"I think it is a great life lesson for people," said West coach Phil Jackson, who led coached O'Neal and Bryant on the Lakers. "This is something that the people work together, people find a way to get through situations, find harmony in their life, find cohabitation." Source
I watched the game…barely but Shaq and Kobe were killing it. At least, they were killing it the few times I looked up from my computer. Sorry b-ball ain’t my thang.

New Kicks!

Nikes’s got a new shoe coming out. They’ve also got Kobe Bryant peddling it. The Hyperdunk, set for a July release, is supposed to be a sleek, light weight shoe. It utilizes Flywire Technology and Lunarlite foam which shaves “off weight and adding strength, allowing athletes to be lighter on their feet and faster on the track and on the court. Lunarlite foam features a unique cell structure making it lightweight and ultra responsive as a cushioning system.” Kobe said, ‘the Nike Hyperdunk is extremely lightweight, strong and responsive to give a real advantage on court.” Source Peep his commercial for them below:
