Mike Tyson Talks About Dealing With Grief

Mike Tyson has finally spoken out about the loss of his daughter Exodus. The toddler passed away in a freak accident this past May.
He says, “I really was beating myself up over my daughter.
“I was staying in the house, depressed; it was a dark moment in my life. [Acting] keeps me functioning as a healthy human being,” he adds. “I am working with dealing with it. I have spoken to a lot of people. I have become a member of an exclusive club no one wants to join,” he confesses. “I have been told the pain never stops but you get over it. I am going through a process, trying to heal. I am in denial, because I don’t know how to handle it. I don’t know what to do or say. I appreciate everybody who supported me.” Source

Mike Tyson Gets Hitched

Just a few weeks after the death of his toddler daughter, Mike Tyson has married his girlfriend Lakiha Spicer in Las Vegas.
The two married at La Bella Wedding Chapel. Lakiha has been helping him deal with the death of his 4-year-old daughter Exodus. Source

Mike Tyson's Daughter Passes Away

Mike Tyson’s 4-year-old daughter, Exodus, has succumbed to injuries she sustained in a freak accident when she hung herself from a cable attached to a treadmill in the family’s home.

She was found by her 7-year-old brother who told his mom who was in another room when it happened. She called 911 and tried to revive her.

Phoenix police Sgt. Andy Hill told FOX News, “Somehow she was playing on this treadmill, and there’s a cord that hangs under the console – it’s kind of a loop. Either she slipped or put her head in the loop, but it acted like a noose, and she was obviously unable to get herself off of it.” Source

Iron Mike was in Las Vegas during the time of the accident, but flew to Phoenix later Monday to visit his daughter.

"We are grateful for the tremendous outpouring of love and prayers from all over the world," Tyson said in a statement. "There are no words to describe the tragic loss of our beloved Exodus. We ask you now to please respect our need at this very difficult time for privacy to grieve and try to help each other heal." Source

This is absolutely heartbreaking. Condolences go out to the family. I pray they have the strength to survive this tragedy.

Mike Tyson is weighing in on the Chrianna debacle.

"It's none of my business, but you know what I say about that? I understand the situation. I understand passion with young kids.

"My personal opinion about that is, he's just a baby. He's just a little baby that don't know how to handle his emotions when it comes to a woman. And he probably hears this and thinks, 'I know how to handle my emotions'; we all think we do.
"But the fact [is]," Tyson continues, "you look at this person and you might be crazy in love, but we don't know how to handle those feelings."
Why might have Chris done it? "Now you're a fly guy and a cool guy [you think] ... you have to be hard like that," Mike says.
"You can't abuse them," he tells MTV. "It's really sick what you [can] do. She has a space in your heart and you believe you care about her more than anybody in the world.
"Do I think it's right to beat up a woman? No hell no," he adds. "Have I hit a woman before? Hell yeah. Was I wrong? Hell yeah. I'm a product of that environment. Do I regret ever doing that? Hell yeah. Would I do it again? Never." Source

He says “Hell Yea” like some asked him if birds fly and fish swim. This simple brute shouldn’t be weighing in on this AT ALL.

Foxx to Play Tyson in Biopic?

Former boxer, Mike Tyson, is in the works of having a biopic made about him and would love for Jamie Foxx to play him in a biopic.

"It's gonna be [about me]," he told MTV News about the planned collaboration. "It's gonna be Jamie Foxx portraying me in a life story."

"I don't know [who might direct]," he said. "Jamie discussed the things he wanted to do. He didn't know which way he wanted to go, but it was something he wanted to do. He told me not to tell anybody [too much]. He's just interested in doing it." Source

Lord…this ought to be interesting.

Mike Rams his Truck into a Fence

Former boxer, Mike Tyson rammed his Escalade into the visitor’s gate of a private community in Vegas on Thanksgiving morning.
"He went to the visitor's gate, but instead of driving through the gate when it opened, he veered off and hit the closed resident's gate," said Action News reporter Rikki Cheese. "Tyson reportedly backed up and ripped the gate down. Metro was called, and Tyson got a ticket."
They gave him a breathalyzer and when he passed they wrote the whole thing off as an accident. Source
Angry Disposition + Brute Strength + Large Machinery = Disaster. Someone needs to put Grape Ape in a cage…or at least on a leash.

Someone Put a Hit on Iron Mike

According to SOHH, there was at one time a hit out on Iron Mike.
A contract was taken out on former boxer Mike Tyson's life after he ordered the killing of the men responsible for murdering his bodyguard, according to witness testimony on Monday in a gang trial.
The plot to kill Tyson was planned to be carried out in the summer of 2000, two months after the June death of Darryl Baum-the man accused of shooting rapper 50 Cent nine times in May of the same year (00).
Gang member Shelby Henderson testified in Brooklyn, New York Federal Court in the trial against member Abubakr Raheem. Henderson claimed that when he learned of the $50,000 bounty Tyson had offered to have their members killed, gang leader Damion 'World' Hardy (Lil Kim's ex-boyfriend) planned a retaliation.
The plot was later abandoned. Source
…Then he threatened to eat their children and they threatened to eat his children…sighs…it was just one big ole mess.

Holyfield and Iron Mike Headed Back to the Ring?

Mike Tyson (41) and Evander Holyfield (45) are thinking about going back in the ring. Evander said, "Tyson wants to regain his character. I want a good showing, he wants a good showing - so the best man would come out on top." Source

WHY?! WHY? WHY?! This is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard.
1. Y’all are both old as hell it’s time to hang up the gloves.
2. Mike is crazy as hell…I guess someone forgot getting a piece of their face bitten off by him.
3. There’s nothing that could happen to top the last time they met in the ring barring Mike hosting a Polynesian roast with Evander playing the part of the pig.

Mike Tyson has revealed that Jaime Foxx will be playing him in an upcoming biopic. He says, “Jamie Foxx and I will be working together. He will play me in the film about my life. We already talked about it several times.” Source
Hahahahahah! Oh yes! I can’t wait to see this. I don’t care how good of an actor you are, there is no way to play someone like Mike Tyson without it becoming a completely tragic parody. Please reference Flex Alexander’s portrayal of Michael Jackson in Man in the Mirror: the Michael Jackson Story.
