Christina Aguilera's Joining a 'Burlesque' Show

X-Tina is interested in starring in “Burlesque,” a film about a strip teas dancer. DWTS pro Julianne Hough is also in the running for the role. The film was written by Steve Antin, brother of PCD creator Robin Antin. He confirmed the film is in the works but said it’s “too preliminary to comment on.” Source
Well I don’t know about Julianne, but X-Tina’s definitely got the dirty/sexy thang in her pocket. I’d be interested to see her actually act though.

Xtina's Hubby Wants to Buy Violent Art

Christina Aguilera’s husband, producer Jordan Bratman, has been eyeing artwork from shock artist Cleon Peterson and plans on filling their new home with it. The artpieces depict images of rape, mugging and brutality.

One gallery regular who witnessed Bratman's art interest says, "It was clear he was there to check out Peterson's The Occupation exhibition, which opened last week
"The artist's pieces look colorful and interesting from a distance, and closer inspection shows scenes of street violence. It's quite disturbing. "He left the gallery without buying anything, but you could tell he was very interested. Maybe Christina will have to OK his strange choice in art before he buys." Source
I surely hope he wouldn’t wallpaper his house with that kind of art with a child in the home. But you know how these wacky celebs are.

Christina Throws a "Wild" Party for Max

X-Tina just threw a b-day party for her 1-year-old son Max based on the children’s book “Where the Wild Things Are.”
The party had people dressed up as characters from the book and was attended by 40 guests including Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, who’s daughter Harlow was born the day before Max. Source
Must be nice…too bad he won’t remember any of it.

Xtina Says She Doesn't Know Who GaGa Is

Christina Aguilera has been under scrutiny lately for trying to steal newcomer, Lady GaGa’s Style. When asked about it she said:
“You know, that’s funny that you mention that. This person [Lady GaGa] was just brought to my attention not too long ago. I’m not quite sure who this person is, to be honest. I don’t know if it is a man or a woman. I just wasn’t sure. I really don’t spend any time on the Internet, so I guess I live a little under a rock in that respect.” Source

Xtina Wants More Kids; Loves Motherhood

Singer Christina Aguilera, who just had her first child 10 months ago is ready for more.
“Absolutely, we’ll definitely have more kids,” she told PEOPLE at the Africa Rising concert in London Tuesday. How many? “I don’t know. We’ll play it by ear.”
“I’m in love with my life,” she says, although parting with her son to perform can be a drag. “But Mama has to work, Mama has to do a job.”
She adds, “I think it’s important to share what I love – what makes me me – with my son. So I change diapers and I breastfeed him and I play with him and then I work. I want to show Max everything about me.”
She says her son max inspired her new album. “It’s all about color and life. Everything’s a playground for him. Everything is color and fun.”

Wanna Smell Like X-Tina?

Christina Aguilera has a new fragrance called Inspire. She says, "The outer packaging is red because it's fun, it pops. A touch of pink is meant to add playfulness, the teardrop shape of the bottle is the classic statement and the silver-colored, saucer-shaped top brings in the modern appeal." She’ll be launching the fragrance on September 2nd from 5p-6:30p at the Macy’s in Herald Square. The fragrance, shower gel and body lotion will be available for $20-$59. Source

Two Blondes Team Up for New Music

Christina Aguilera and one of new faves Sia will be collaborating on Christina’s upcoming album. “I’m going to write with Christina Aguilera in mid-September for her next album,” Sia told SPIN.com. “It might not work, she might not like any of the stuff I write, and it may not make the cut, but I’m pretty excited about it — I think she’s rad!” They’ve never met in person but Sia says when they spoke on the phone, , “She(Christina) was like, ‘I’m into you and I’m interested to step into your world,’ and I was like ‘Cool!’” Source
I hope Sia can bring her quirky, real style to Christina’s album. It’ll be an interesting change.

More Babies for Xtina?

Christina told Extra that she plans on having another baby. She also told OK! Magazine that being a mom has made her more confident and she feels sexier now.
Hmm, I don’t think I’ve seen her with that baby once since she’s had him. How bout we focus on taking care of the child you have before having anymore.

Christina is defending her party lifestyle. She said, "I spend all day with my son. Once in a while, if I want to go out and have a mommy-daddy night with my husband, I am more than allowed to do that," Source

Way to Showcase Your Assets!

Xtina made her first post baby appearance last Tuesday to vote and sign copies of her new DVD at Best Buy. She had an interview before her appearance and this is what she had to say about her little bundle of joy:
“This whole incredible thing that’s taken part in my life, between the pregnancy and the birth, I’ve got so much to be inspired about and so much in my life to write about. I’ve been brain-storming for the last nine months, actually. This next album will have a whole new me, so there’s a lot to look forward to. It’s still the first couple of weeks, every week something new happens. It’s constant changing and he’s constantly changing and doing these incredibly cute things - and stinky things.” Daily Mail
I’m glad to see that Xtina hasn’t pulled a Nicole Ritchie and popped up 2 weeks after giving birth looking like a starving child. She’s holding it down for us ladies with large chesticles. God bless her and her milk engorged breasts! But heavens to Betsey, I’m really going to have to have a sit down with her about that make-up situation. I know I’ve told her a few times before that she needs to scrape off a few layers but she’s really not listening. Maybe I’ll bring over a gift basket for little Max, then have Daddy take him for a walk whilst I attack her face with some Pond’s wipes. I think Im gonna need the Costco size, no?

More Capricorns Enter the World

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden welcomed a little girl on Friday whom they named Harlow Winter Kate Madden. She weighed In at 6 lbs. 7 oz.
David Alan Grier and wife Christine Y. Kim had a baby girl on Thursday. They named her Luisa Danbi Grier-Kim – Danbi means "sweet rain" in Korean – and she weighed in at 7 lbs., 6 oz.
Christina Aguilera and husband Jordan Bratman had a baby boy Max Liron Bratman on Friday. She was in the same hospital as Nicole…apparently right down the hall. Max weighed in at 6 lbs. 2 oz.
Congrats to all the new moms and dads!

You Want Me to Push it Out of WHERE?!

According to the Daily Mail Xtina is saying 'hell to the no' to having a natural birth. She’s already scheduled her c-section for January 10th. She’s facing a little bit of criticism for choosing to have a c-section instead of pushing the baby out because the c-section isn’t for medical reasons but supposedly cus she doesn’t want to deal with the pain of a vaginal birth. Whatever! Tina, do you! Why push and scream and sweat and curse for hours when you don’t have to? When I have kids I hope I’m rich enough to have a planned c-section followed immediately by a tummy tuck and breast lift. I can just see it now. Lo’s on the table screaming: "No nurse I don’t need to hold the baby right this second! Clean it off for Pete’s sake! And can someone fire up the lipo machine please?! Let’s get choppin’ folks! I’ve got a spa treatment at 6pm and I simply can’t miss it! Move it! Move it! Move it! "

Xtina Lets it All Hang Out

After finally confirming that she was pregnant Xtina decided to do the whole nude pregnancy pose thangie for Marie Claire. I generally like these kinds of photos and find them to be very pretty but there is something here that isn’t working for me. Maybe it’s the jacket..maybe the bleach blond hair…maybe it’s the fact that it's in Marie Claire (I mean seriously it’s like the poor man’s Cosmo) but something about it feels cheap.
Everyone needs to stop swagger jackin’ Demi Moore. Cus when she did it, it was friggin gorgeous.
